Happy October!


This is Ann Shaw's "Black Oak" quilt. I love the colors. Even though I'm not crazy about orange, the pink/purple makes it work. Did you notice that the background is made from leafy batiks? Clever.

I'm not a fan of orange either but I'm tolerant when it's fall time, my fave. I agree, this is a nice quilt. I'm glad we are all different and like different things but it's also nice to find a kindred spirit that has the same taste in colors, haha.

I have to admit that I love orange :-) This is an awesome quilt, what a great way to use fabrics in texture and in color!
